Richard Roeper Says...
...that "Brothers" and "Up In The Air" are getting multiple Oscar nominations. Sure he gives other movies solid grades in his reviews, but to my knowledge these are the only two movies of the year (so far) that he's singled out for awards. Will his predication come true? Probably, they're safe predictions after all. Never-the-less, he's big enough to quote, so here are his videos:

I agree with you but also SKIN should be nominated for a few more categories including Best Supporting Actress for Alice Krige, who played the mother, and the best makeup - they all aged 30 years so convincingly and the best score and best song...the music was so evokative. SKIN is my favourite movie of the year!
If it were up to me "Skin" would have multiple acting nominations for sure. Sadly it hasn't caught on with the public OR the critics, so if it gets any nominations I'll be surprised! Happily surprised, but surprised none-the-less.
